Keith Kumler

Keith was born and raised right here in Lancaster, Ohio. After high school, Keith attended Eastern Michigan University. It was there he met his future wife, Kate, who grew up in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Returning to Lancaster with Kate after getting married, Keith began working in the automotive collision business started by Keith’s grandfather. Keith and Kate have three children: Hannah, Luke, and Sophia. They all attend Fairfield Christian Academy where Kate is employed as a high school English teacher. Keith and Kate are active members of the community and serve in many capacities, such as serving on the United Way Board of Review, volunteering with T.W.I.G., and coaching area youth leagues. They are also both active parents/boosters of Fairfield Christian Academy. Keith and Kate have attended Lancaster Community Church since its first Sunday meeting in 1999. They have served and volunteered in numerous capacities while attending LCC and became part of the initial leadership board where Keith has continued to serve as an Elder.
 
 

Jim Wellington

Jim grew up in Circleville, Ohio. His parents were great role models for him as he was growing up. After graduation from high school he went to Capital University in Columbus graduating in 1967 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Shortly after graduation he married Cheri who was from Owatonna, Minnesota. He went on to graduate school at Ohio University and received a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling in 1970. After teaching and counseling at the Fairfield School for Boys for 4 ½ years he left there to take a job as a guidance counselor in the Lancaster School System. He held that position until 1998 when he retired. Jim had been working part-time as an academic advisor at the Ohio University – Lancaster Campus since 1989. Upon retirement from the school system he picked up more hours at OU-L and is currently still working as an academic advisor.
Cheri and Jim have been involved with Lancaster Community Church since 2003 serving on various volunteer ministries.
God has blessed Jim & Cheri with 6 children and 12 grandchildren in their 42 years of marriage.
 
 

Matt Johnson

Matthew grew up in Detroit, Michigan and had two loving and godly parents who were pastors at a church. Matthew was raised in that church and after high school went on to attend Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. After college, he took a position at his father¹s church as youth 
pastor. Matthew married his high school sweetheart, Mary, in 2001. After serving at his father¹s church for five years, Matthew and Mary moved to Lancaster in 2004 to take a position at Lancaster Community Church. In early 2005, Matthew started the youth ministry program for LCC. Since then, LCC has seen that ministry grow in tremendous ways while impacting over 100 students every week with a team of over 20 adults including Matt¹s gifted assistant, Sara Miller. 
Matt became the Lead Pastor on March 6, 2011. 
Matthew and Mary have three handsome young boys and a beautiful daughter.
 
 

Tom Milby

Tom was born in Taylor County Kentucky. His family moved to Ohio when he was 10. He Graduated from Logan High School in 1971.
He has been married to his lovely wife Ann (Rooker) for 39 years. They have one son, Ryan and a daughter, Sarah Hutchinson. They have four grandchildren and another on the way.
Tom and Ann own and operate Milby Automotive in Lancaster and have been attending LCC since 2002.
 
 

Joe Barber

Joe was born in Lancaster, but spent most of his childhood in Florida because his parents were full time missionaries with Teen Missions. Joe moved back to Ohio to complete high school at Northridge.
Joe has worked in construction, excavating, and is currently the administrator for the Village of Bremen. Joe has been married to his wife, Katie, for ten years and has a daughter named Julia. Joe has a passion for missions and enjoys working with youth.
