What is your calling? Sometimes God gives us specific callings. He may call us to specific jobs or specific cities. If God has called you to something, and you are doing that thing, that’s where you will feel most fulfilled. When you are functioning where you were designed to be, you’ll feel and work your best.
But sometimes I wonder, “What is my calling?” I think at one time or another we all wonder this. I don’t think God speaks and calls us all to something specific. We are all created differently, and have talents and skills unlike anyone else. Or maybe you have fulfilled your calling, and you’re now to the point where you don’t know what is next. Both of these places can be hard to find yourself in.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
We know that we are God’s creation. We also know that we are on purpose, made with a start and with a beginning. So whatever stage of life you are in, remember that God calls us to love Him and then love the people around us. So no matter where you are, or how you are feeling about your calling, remember that God has given us all a calling. He’s given us all a purpose.
Be encouraged this week to be the light of Jesus to people who need Him most.
