Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT

This past weekend, I was teaching the kids some “What if” questions based on the Bible story that Pastor Phil taught. Pastor Phil and I were going through the questions before Sunday morning. One of the questions he came up with was “What if I believed God to do the impossible?” After he asked it, I started to have thoughts in my head that the impossible is hard to pray sometimes (but never once said this out loud). Immediately, Pastor Phil came up with another question: “What if I trusted God’s plan?” I actually started smiling and laughing a bit. God knew my thoughts, He knew that He needed to have Pastor Phil ask that second question right away. What if I trusted God’s plan?

Trusting God’s plan means laying it all out there for Him. Praying like you have never prayed before. Knowing that He knows best! God’s plan is ALWAYS GOOD. It might not look good to us here on this earth, but He knows what is best for each and every one of us. Is God’s plan easy? Can you understand it all the time? The answer to both of those are no, but I know God loves you.

I don’t know what you are going through; I don’t know what you have seen in your lifetime. I am just challenging you today (just as God did to me) to TRUST GOD’S PLAN. Pray for the impossible even when it looks impossible. Praying for you today!

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.

Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.

His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
